Good morning, good evening, good night! How are we all this week? We’ve had a busy couple of weeks and my wee body is sure feeling the effects. As always we have been busy working away and at home on tour, last week saw us close to home and doing some Scottish events and this week has seen us up and down the country from Nottingham to Warrington, then to Telford and finishing our week off in Carlisle!
As I always say, time seems to fly by us when we are away and it’s mad to think we’re already over half way through this leg of the tour!
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]Let’s start with last weekend, as i’m not joking it was literally the best weekend we have had in a LONG time. I always love my time off work, however being outside, and getting fresh air makes it all the better and that’s exactly what we did! Myself, Lyndsey and Keithy T hopped into the car and off we went ‘ Adventuring ‘ as we call it. Basically we go somewhere new, somewhere we have never been before and see what we can see and find and explore.
We ended up going to a place called St Abbs, it’s on the East Coast of Scotland and lies on the A1 heading South. When we got there, it was a quaint little fishing village. We visited a cafe and had the most delicious lunch, a Smoked Salmon Salad for me and I enjoyed it far too much!

We then proceeded to head off along the cliff walk and see what we could see. It was so incredibly stunning and if you ever get the chance to go I would highly recommend the trip! We ventured a 4 mile round trip, and although we were beyond tired by the time we got back to the car we still managed a visit to North Berwick on the way back home for Ice Cream…Yum!
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]On Sunday we woke up feeling sore and stiff from Saturday’s activities, however it was Lyndsey’s suggestion that we took Mr Keith for ANOTHER walk. I must admit I thought she was mad with this offering given how far we seemed to have walked the day before. Nevertheless off we trotted and this time the destination was Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh City Centre.
I donned my gym gear today as walking in jeans as I did the day before seemed far too strenuous!
Now, I’ll admit we have attempted this walk before, however after about half way up we both decided to admit defeat and headed back down, it has such a steep incline. This time… i’m pleased to say, WE DID IT! All the way to the top and with breath and leg energy to spare! Wooooooo Fricken Hooooooo! Even Keithy T was feeling the strain! And enjoyed taking a minute to enjoy the sun on his little face!

What a weekend it was, but as always the weekends go in soooooo fast and it was time to head away again this week down South. Monday morning came and off to Nottingham we went!
This week has been fantastic, we’ve travelled up and down and up and down again ha ha. The sun has been shining and the audiences have been wonderful.
As I finish writing this blog this week, we’re just about to begin our Carlisle event, I love the function room here it’s bright and beautiful and lovely to work in.
Next week see’s us home in Scotland, Haddington on Monday, Tuesday in Stirling, Wednesday in Clydebank and Thursday in Selkirk, it sure will be lovely to be home to my own bed every night!
I hope whatever you’ve all been doing it’s been a wonderful few weeks! Until next time…
Jess Jess xx
