Just me checking in again to tell you about our first two weeks back on tour! And as I’ve mentioned before for me, being back on the road is the best way to stay on top of what i’m eating and ensuring I don’t go too much off plan – so for me it’s been a fantastic week! & to top it off I managed to lose the wee gain that happened whilst I was off, I know it was a combination of water weight too but it still feels good this week to be 3lb down and feeling less bloated.
So we started off last week right back into the swing of things with Rutherglen, St Andrews, Cumbernauld and Perth. They were all really good shows, with lovely audience members and fantastic messages given by Paula.
I enjoyed some lovely food too, this recipe for Carrot Cake Oats is one that I’ve featured to appear in the members area so you can all try it for yourselves, it’s so delicious, filling and lovely and warm now that we have FREEZING cold mornings once again!
I also tucked into this Sweet Oat Pancake one morning, I topped it with some plain yoghurt and berries & it really hit the spot!
I just mixed 20g of Ready Brek into what was essentially an omelette mix of eggs & about 50 ml of milk!
I’m beginning to sound like all I do is eat but when your a bit of a foodie like me, it tends to be on my mind planning my next meal all the time! When i’m not munching I enjoy going out for walks, and after a busy week at work that’s exactly what I did at the weekend. Myself and Lyndsey headed off to St Andrew’s to have a wander round and an explore at the weekend. It was lovely, I love playing the tourist and going round towns that I’ve visited loads of times before with a totally different viewpoint, looking at things I’ve never looked at or payed attention to!
We had a fabulous time, took loads of photographs and made loads of memories – what else are weekends for eh?
Following on from this I was in a playful mood, this meant that unfortunately I played a fun prank on my dad! He took it all in great fun and i’m currently waiting in anticipation for his payback to arrive ha ha.
He is obsessed with clearing the leaves away from his front door, he doesn’t like them, finds them slippery and is always out sweeping and shovelling them up – what a better way to play a prank than to give him some leaves to be sweeping! See the photo below for what he arrived home to on Saturday night after being out with the family. Ooooooops!
It sure looks like the leaf fairy had fun on his front path ha ha ha
Whilst we were out exploring at the weekend I found some lovely treat’s which I purchased and brought home to enjoy the following week, they included, Smoked Haddock, Hot Smoked Salmon and Cold Smoked Salmon ( I LOVE fish! Of any kind, remember if it swims, it slims!! )
I also got some flavoured coffee, these are amazing when I fancy something sweet, I got Christmas pudding flavour, Caramel, Chocolate and Hazelnut.
I have thoroughly enjoyed our first week back on tour as always, and this week is going incredibly, we are only 2 days in but again the messages at the shows have been incredible, just the perfect amount of sad and comforting.
As always, i’m forever looking for things to tell you guys in these blogs, and i’ll never stop being fantastically crazy so i’ll always end up with plenty to tell you. Until next time… 🙂
